This 8 second has some fairly decent animation. It's in colour, it has some interesting background work, it's mildly amusing seeing Hagrid sent flying by Harry's spells, but that's about it.

Big elephant in the room: Quantity over quality. You've already posted 5-6 cartoons under 30 seconds (sometimes under 15 seconds) in the past 2 months. Pace yourself. It's not uncommon for a NG creator to go months without a single upload

Full color, fully shaded animation that looks very nice. A little bit lewd, but still.

When I first reviewed your stuff, you barely used any audio, but now, you use enough that it doesn't break the immersion. Well, MoistCr1tiKaL audio clips aside, it's still a massive improvement.

However, I will take offense at the scene where Whitney takes off her shirt (as seen in the thumbnail), Not because I and the rest of the reviewers didn't get to see boobies, but because you used a 30 second clip from Devil May Cry with copyrighted music, specifically the track "Bury the Light"

On YouTube, you could sort of get away with it, but Newgrounds is a small independent platform that can't afford to take a lawsuit from Capcom, so they enforce strict rules regarding music usage. So here at least, you might have to use something else in your bait and switch. Or just release it uncensored.

Just as good as the last year's FFFFFF. Keep them going. Or don't. Clock Day movies take a shitload of work and you REALLY don't want to do that. That's why I do Clock games. A musical may works fine too.

Very rigid and barely animated (unless you count the arms). The worst offender has to be when Caulifla points at her boobs at 0:20. It looks like his arms have shrunk. The voices are not too bad.

Très rigide et à peine animé (sauf si vous comptez les bras). Le pire délinquant devrait être lorsque Caulifla pointe ses seins à 0:20. On dirait que ses bras ont rétréci. Les voix ne sont pas trop mauvaises.

== Impressive work, but still overall unpolished ==
Score: 9 | Critic Review

This is a 12-minute-long Castle Crashers video in the style of an old anime VHS. It stars 9 of the many playable knights as the protagonists and the Necromancer as the sole antagonist.
The voices are all in Japanese, but English subtitles are provided. Some of the music in this animation comes from the original game, but it also uses music from other anime shows, which might be very iffy copyright-wise.

The fact that you animated an entire 12-minute story in only 2 weeks would've been impressive by itself, however, I can tell that it would've been very quick to animate.

1. Lip-syncing is rarely used. Anime tends to use fewer mouth frames compared to western animation. Sort of justified as the knights all wear helmets covering their faces.

2. Backgrounds are very simple. Even the stars in the 'flying circle' scene (5:41) only cycle between 2-3 frames and looks extremely unpolished.

3. The characters have simplistic proportions and lack shading, which would cut down on animation time by an astronomical amount. They also use very few keyframes (for example, a lot of non-action scenes use only 1 keyframe and only animate the eyes)

This collab is themed around the Illegal Immigrant Special, a Foamy episode, getting deleted from Newgrounds. It lasted just over 2 days on the Portal.
Obituary link: https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/rip/304158

Although I couldn't find a copy on the Wayback Machine and see the movie for myself, the collab suggests it was just a single screen with audio slapped on top and it was rumored to be an unofficial entry submitted by users who hacked illwillpress's account.

Many believe that the submission was BLAMMED, or IWP requested it to be deleted himself fearing another Turd of the Week award (which he had won at least 2 of).
When researching this topic, I discovered a BBS post where a regular called Ozcar said that he emailed Tom to get it taken down because it was racist towards Mexicans and violated NG's rules on hate speech.
https://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/530457#bbspost9631245_post_text

This isn't the first time IWP submitted a single screen audio only flash. He had done something similar with the 2005 flash "Hurricane Report" or "Hurricane Special", which was made in light of Hurricane Katrina and complaining about the people taking advantage of the situation.
This one survived until 2016, when IWP deleted the rest of his catalogue.
If you still want to see it and don't want to wait for IWP to repost in HD, go to this Wayback Machine link, right click and 'Inspect', search 'ungrounded.net' for a SWF that says 'hurricanespecial', and then play it Ruffle or other compatible Flash Players.
http://web.archive.org/web/20051001032105/http://newgrounds.com/portal/view/262703

As for the collab, 20 animators submitted parts (though only 4 accounts are credited as of writing) and since the special was removed on April 2nd and this collab was released April 7th, they only had five days. Each part retells that story in a unique way and I will be individually reviewing each one (and rating from 0 to 10). This is a long ride.

Alex:
Foamy is jumping on the road when a Hot Topic truck runs him over. Here, Foamy uses a poorly made motion tween rig, and some really crusty looking tree bitmaps. Blood animates very slowly.
Overall Score: 5

TruffleClock:
Foamy posts the flash to the Portal and gets blams, while RenegadeClock finishes the job.
Mostly tweens, but the assets look decent (this is totally normal for Clock Crew movies)
Overall Score: 7

FUN FACT: As of 2022, ucfd.net, which used to host an anti-Foamy forum, now leads to RenegadeClock's submission 'Renegade's Rant', a flash movie from late 2003 bashing Foamy for becoming 'King of the Portal' (in short, win the most Daily awards in a single month)
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/140978

Luksy:
This is based on the Foamy's Rant episodes, where there's an image of a city affected by "Trace Bitmap" using Flash, while Foamy's head tweens around. Foamy doesn't talk, but does get headshot by an offscreen sniper when he attempts to talk. Just as much effort as the real Foamy's Rant, although J.i.M keeps those going for 3 minutes or longer, while this is 17 seconds.
Overall Score: 5

RTIL (usually credited as xtil in shitpost entries like this one):
Rtil has also parodied Foamy in two other movies, Rest in Peace IWP (2005), where IWP's 'death' was fabricated as a joke, and The Nail (2007), where Foamy "gets sent on an epic journey to his final destiny.". This one has Foamy burning in hell alongside 'zombified' flash submissions.
Rtil appears to have the best art in this collab due to being one of the more talented contributors. He would later go on to work for Studio Yotta and do art for Skullgirls.
Overall Score: 10

AltF4:
DEAR FOAMY: Foamy shoots himself in the mouth and dies along with the text 'DO IT', indicating Foamy should 'commit sudoku'. Graphics are nice, but the audio cuts off after he shoots.

I'm certain that this was made by 'altffour', aka the guy who made the massive hit music video 'The Ultimate Showdown' with Lemon Demon's song of the same name,
Overall Score: 8

DavidMoore0:
Foamy checks his fanmail, reads it, then explodes. Barely anything animated except Foamy's eyes and the explosion is just a red screen. Still fairly funny.
Overall Score: 5

Cyberen:
Illwillpress himself checks Newgrounds only to find his movie was blammed. He gets mad and emails Wade. IWP is depicted as an ugly looking man with purple hair.
Overall Score: 7

guitarbrdaroun:
IWP goes completely insane over his movie's removal, and uses a hammer. Graphics are awful and backgrounds are poorly parallaxed!
Overall Score: 1

CabritoGoat:
Foamy is having anal with a naked torso in front of the movie's Obituary page and behind a flashing colour filter, clown faces, and the word 'FUCK'.
Awful visuals and not really very appropriate for children, but it's worth a cheap laugh.
Overall Score: 2

James Packard Inc / James Prankard Inc
IWP submits the movie, then a screen with him with 'FAILURE' bleeding out of his wrist and a background that parodies the special, with 'Illwillpress Live from New York'. Some more blood tweens down revealing the text 'JAMESPRANKARDINC HATES ILLWILLPRESS'.
Not very well-made,
Overall Score: 4

f00d (This one is placed right above Foamy's head in its own box.)
A Mexican guy is offended by the SPecial and blams it. In the movie, Foamy hates Mexicans and calls them 'burrito munchers', while the Mexican himself munches on a burrito after the movie gets blammed.
Good art, great interpretation, and I understand why this was named 'personal favourite'
Overall Score: 10

Ludy / EviLudy
What appears to be Ludy's OC dances to 'Illwillpress got blammed'. Decent art + animation + FX, but nothing to write home about in terms of the overall premise and the given theme.
Overall Score: 7

BigArmyBug / Bug (deleted)
Foamy is in Hell and runs away. Good art, good tweens, good repeating background.
Overall Score: 9

G G / Galloglasses:
Foamy gets deported to Mexico by an Italian-sounding guy. Audio is shit, but thankfully there's captions on top. Backgrounds are likely found on Google and 'Mexico' has two pasted together. It's a little cringe, just a little, but it's got some decent writing and length.
Overall Score: 7

Cookie Eater:
47 seconds later a guy celebrates for less than a second. Couldn't understand this one. Is he IWP? Or a hater?
Overall Score: 5

ReyaIsTheSlayer:
Red haired guy shoots Illwillpress right after his movie is deleted. That's the BLAM.
Overall Score: 5

Zielak:
Foamy's movie is reported, despite his best efforts. Then it's a whistle party with the text
DIE FOAMY!'. This one's about the movie getting reported rather than blammed, so good on Zielak for going against the norm.
Overall Score: 6

FatBadger:
Fat Badger whacks Foamy with his arm, then Germaine while ParagonX9 music plays in the background. FatBadger tends to make some very good spam, although it's spam nonetheless. But then again, everyone had less than 5 days to make parts and even he admits in a review that he rushed it.
Overall Score: 8

PowerRangerYELLOW
IWP (voiced by Speakonia) reporting live from mom's basement. The porn and Cracker Jacks addict submits another 'still-frame masterpiece'. And he's dead, the rumors (from 2005) are true.
Like the original special, it's also a 'still-frame masterpiece'. This one's not too well-drawn, but gets the job done.
Overall Score: 3

Doctor_Primate (secret)
This is a secret part I never knew existed when I first saw this collab. To access this, right click and select 'Forward' on PowerRangerYELLOW's part.

Foamy has a Newgrounds poster, a KKK poster, and a Foamy poster saying 'Got Angst'. He is heartbroken that his movie is blammed. Computer turns on the 'You Get NOTHING, You lose, Good day sir!' audio plays. This is an iconic line from Willy Wonka

Graphics and colours are utter crap and the shadows are solid black (Foamy's faces towards the light bulb instead of away from it). I see why this was hidden.
Overall Score: 0

== Am I supposed to be terrified? ==
Score: 6 | Critic Review

I didn't really see a lot of animation in this 'animation'.
The vast majority of the visuals are just text, while THIRSTGF only ever opened her eyes (+2 frames, eyes only), raised her arms and went super creepy (+1 full frame), slashed at the viewer/Boyfriend (+4 frames, just the arm, they all look a tad rushed), then turned bright red and began to jumpscare (filter effects). The art of ol' THIRSTGF herself still looks alright, and I can't complain about the video game sound effects.

You claim in your bio that you are 'great at drawing, making music, animations, voice acting, and videos'. I don't think a person who genuinely is great at those things would need to say that they're great in their bio, they'd just say 'I draw, animate, voice act, make music and make videos'. It just inflates your ego.

== Foamy sucks, but so does this 'Documentary' ==
Score: 5
I agree with the overall message, but the 'documentary' is very poorly researched. I'm not here to defend ol' Jonathan Ian Mathers, just clear up some information that Jare got wrong.

- He's got a high pitched voice, talks really fast and is extremely annoying.
Fair point, but that is very debatable. I find it to be tolerable, but I understand where this is coming from. However, later on you make the point that squirrels shouldn't talk at all because real squirrels don't do that. This is a cartoon and that's artistic license.

- Has no redeeming qualities, always bullies Germaine for being horny + dumb, while he himself is horny
I don't know about Foamy himself being horny, but Germaine has whored herself out in one way or another in certain parts of the series, usually for monetary gain because she's too unstable to get a job or make money out of poetry.

- Animator is lazy / won't draw mouth, / uses clickbait
I agree. This is an easy time-saving technique done to rush animations out every 2 weeks. Other techniques include drawing only 1 or 2 backgrounds per episode, fewer keyframes, fewer in-betweens (ditching them outright in the modern episodes), and good ol' fashioned motion tweens. As if your 1-2 games/movies per day is any better.

- Every episode is the same and doesn't make any sense.
Each episode can be split into several categories, though they usually follow the same formula. Usually he's either by himself delivering a rant, or messing with Germaine, but he's also done some other stuff too.

During the original series (2003-2011) he may also read fanmail, phone up an Indian tech support worker, or complain about coffee at Starschmucks. as well as try to establish a 'Foamy Cult' sometimes. There was also one episode in 2003 where he just throws nuts at people to blow their heads off. There was some variety back then, but it's still a little bit repetitive during later seasons.
Nowadays in the current series (2017-present), Foamy makes a whole lot more rants and rarely interacts with Germaine, who now mostly just stays at home all the time.

- Doesn't have his own squirrel family or act like a real squirrel.
Foamy does interact with other squirrels sometimes, those being drug addict Pilz-E (blue eyes + glasses), Begley (purple hair), and Hatta (stereotypical black guy whom you mentioned in 4:30), usually Pilz-E. Hatta rarely makes appearances. They're more like a group of buddies you meet together at the pub (or the rehab if the pub ain't cuttin' it) rather than a traditional loving caring family you describe using a book cover, and they aren't always around each episode.

- Doesn't talk about or eat nuts
Foamy usually eats bagels with cream cheese, although he may order a pizza sometimes. Again, it's a cartoon and artistic license takes effect.

- Is horribly designed, uses the 'no mouth' point again, has green eyes when real squirrels don't.
A quick Google search for various squirrel pictures (IRL) show a lot of them have dark brown eyes, and also they don't have a large amount of white like humans have. But that doesn't matter, for this is a cartoon and that's called artistic license. I have my own character, a frog with stubble and belly hair, white arms, and two thirds the height of a human, yet real frogs aren't that big or hairy. Again, it's a cartoon, doesn't need to be super realistic.

- None of the characters' backstories are explained.
On illwillpress.com, click the bottom bar 'Best Viewed in 2005' to view the old site layout, then click 'Characters', or just click the link I've provided. There's information about every single character that's appeared in Foamy/Neurotically Yours and some of J.i.M's other series.

https://illwillpress.com/characters.html

- Illwillpress is/was a racist in the earlier episodes and squirrels shouldn't be African-American.
The Hatta' is the 'black stereotype' squirrel. His 'afro' is on his tail. Two thirds down his playlist "Neurotically Yours Original SE 1-3" you can find two episodes where he's the main focus.
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/768801
He has barely made an appearance in later episodes and may possibly be phased out entirely, to my knowledge. Artistic license!

- Nobody asks 'Why is it a terrible show on Newgrounds?'
They have, even back in the early 2000s when it first started to become a hit. If you search 'Foamy' on the BBS, you will find various threads and users calling Foamy shit and providing some convincing reasons for it.

In fact, there was a group called the UCFD, or the Underground Coalition for Foamy's Demise, that made anti-Foamy parodies. Here is a collab they did in 2006 celebrating one of his movies being blammed.
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/305822

He's most recently got into some hot water when he reuploaded his old episodes back onto Newgrounds after deleting them in 2016, allowing him to win Daily awards and mess with the charts. Since then he has stopped reuploading as frequently (3 every week instead), and started opting out of awards (which was added in 2021). Although he still wins Daily awards with new episodes, he hasn't been a big deal for present day Newgrounds.

Hopefully that clears everything up!
