GOOD (3.5 / 5)
Ah dang, the Kickstarter failed, that sucks. I don't know if there were any intentions for the Kickstarter to succeed. I don't think you COULD raise $77,777 with an audience of your size, nor that you'd need the Kickstarter because you already created 25% of what you set out to make during the funding period.

POSITIVES:
- You've already released six Sheriff Bean videos without the funding. They may be short, but they're still provide enough backstory. I cannot believe that you already had approx: $20,000 set aside just to make those.

NEGATIVES:
- The Kickstarter failed.
- Not taking Kickstarter seriously enough. Even the FNF Full Ass Game had very good reasons for making the Kickstarter. "Rattlesnakes, toxic sludge, booze induced violence, and dysentery" may be risks and challenges for a real cowboy, but not to animators sitting at home drawing beans go shoot shoot haha.

INFO:
- Actual amount raised: $2,134 from 16 backers

Turn it up. TURN IT UP!

Could really use a link to the original comic on your website.

The animation and production quality is great in terms of stop-motion, as expected when you've been doing it for 15 years. If only you had posted here back in 2007, you could've given Knox a run for his money.

GOOD (3.5 / 5)

POSITIVES:
- Animation was good, if not very quickly made from all the simplicity.
- True to the source material.

NEGATIVES:
- Original clip source was originally not found in the description, but since been added because of this review

INFO:
- Sourced from a Jschlatt video instead of the usual OneyPlays.
- Any humor made in this video is dependent on how funny the original clip was, which means your mileage may vary. It may be less funny for someone who had never watched Schlatt before, compared to someone who was watching him at least once every week for the past six weeks, or have watched the clip before.
- He swears a lot here (several uses of the F word at the end + references to fellatio near the beginning)

NOT MUCH (2.5 / 5)

NEGATIVES:
- Read the description: The author is doing the job for me.

POSITIVES:
- The 3D models look OK
- Pretty creative. Seeing 3D Nerions up against 2d trees and Rodites would otherwise be off-putting if not for the fact that this was part of the joke.

INFO:
- In black and white
- 48 seconds
- 4:3 aspect ratio

MEDIOCRE (2 / 5)

NEGATIVES:
- Extremely rough + rushed animation without colour.
- Very few sounds, aside from Chronos's (the man in the top hat) voice. All dialogue aside from him come from text
- Basic ovals and rectangles that makes 1 week look like 1 day.
- No music.

POSITIVES:
- Chronos is drawn a little better than everyone else, although he still seems a little off.
- Has the potential to be a good story if the above negatives were fixed.

INFO:
- 2 minutes long
- No colour, only black and white / couldn't be bothered to use the fill tool

ChronosTimeOverlord responds:

Nearly 7 moths have gone by, but that does not matter. It wasn't made in a week as far as I remember. I storyboarded it for 5-6 days and then made in 1.5 days straight without sleep, so I definitely wasn't thinking straight when animating, but that's kind of an excuse. Happy to infrom that I now animate much better and faster :)

OK (3 / 5)
POSITIVE:
- Good animation. Not at all like those monkey NFT images.
- Nice use of dust and explosion effects

NEGATIVE:
- No sound effects, only music.

INFO:
- No description
- Various techniques such as tweening, looping, and stretching are used.
- Just below the 15 second minimum for the contest it was made for.

GREAT (4 / 5)

POSITIVES:
- A lot of effort went into the voice acting. Everyone involved did a great job, even if I personally found them to be annoying 10% of the time.
- Great writing that holds on its own, but could be further developed if you carried on with this series.
- Great music.
- Artwork is good, even though it's a little too shiny for my tastes.

NEGATIVES: - Although most of the art is good, rarely any of it is moving, hence the definition of 'movie'. The only thing that does move are the character's lips, but sometimes even those don't move. I did that too when creating longer content and it's an extremely efficient time-saver when done right.
- Around 0:52 there's a scene where six of the characters' heads pop up for 1 whole minute. It's unclear who's supposed to be talking. It doesn't help that all of them move slightly and all at once.

INFO:
- After 8:50 the 'movie' ends, leaving 5 minutes for the outro and credits. It's that long because there's a ton of commentary from the voice actors. Am I watching a pilot episode or a DVD with bonus features? Overall, not counting the intro and the commentary, there was only really seven minutes worth of actual 'movie' in a 14 minute long upload.

GOOD (3.5 / 5)

POSITIVES:
- Great lighting
- Great sound effects
- Great 3D modelling
- Great motion

NEGATIVES:
- None

INFO:
- Very simplistic 8 second loop
- The character looks a little rubbery in that light, but that may just be the style used

Jill of all trades.
