Am I the only one here who understands this? Those 4 stamp things always get lost.

Story: Very simple. Nothing to write home about

Art: Massive dealbreaker. Looks like an old case of ‘objectshowitis’. Each character is a geometric shape with crude face and stick limbs, and quick lines for eyes. Drawing from life can definitely help, even if you still aim to keep things cartoony.

Final verdict: You have a very powerful animation tool on your hands, Adobe Flash. People used to make TV shows with this, before Toon Boom anyway. There’s practically a massive potential to be had with this software. Can’t wait what you’ll end up with in 3 years.

Definitely fits the song.

I feel your lighting/colours have improved slightly more. I suggest experimenting more with it in future works.

KittyhawkMontrose responds:

Thanks! I'm glad you think it fits too, and I'm glad you like my progress so far! I've been pushing the coloring, and I like where it's going. I hope you like what I've got coming up too. :D

Great work. In 2 years you’ve made a lot of progress, but do you notice the lighting look… off? Or is it just me?

In other words, it appears you’re using clean, thick cartoony outlines mixed with dark, blurry and over-contrasting rim lighting. Personally I don’t think they work very well together.

I could've sworn there was also a duck in this show.

chipollo responds:

there is! i’ll probably draw him sometime soon :o]

Walking's great, but the checkered floor becomes very jerky on the top and especially when it leaves the horizon.

Doobus is at 960K Holy unholiness, that’s more than Weebl’s Stuff (927K).

Anyway, they all look pretty square. Rounded, but square

Original title (according to the URL): "Going Down to Loud Junk"

This may be a reference to a really old South Park parody titled "LOUD JUNK", on Newgrounds.

Ignoring the fact this is an NFT that has been copypasted multiple times, there's are plenty of flaws:

1. The black outlines are very aliased and wonky,
2. The helmet and sword's pixels don't align with the dolphin's pixels. Only do that with animation.
3. The sword's blade appears very stretched out,
4. That thing betwen the blade and the handle of the sword isn't aligned with the rest of the sword.
5. The sword's behind both fins
6. Very weird and uneven shading + lighting, like you were quickly scribbling with a mouse or tablet. Pixel art is usually a carefully precise process where every pixel should count. Otherwise just do regular digital 2D art.
7. You favourited your own submission when no one else did.

Sad to see the daily comics become less frequent. Maybe you should start pumping out the old classics from last year. That’ll keep us sustained.

Jill of all trades.

Currently working on "Project Mystopia", the biggest game on Newgrounds, probably.
