Even though I have no current plans to make comics or graphic novels (maybe in the future), I still see this as a great tool for compiling comics into an interactible format.
The graphics, presentation, and music are still great.

My only gripe is that it might open the floodgates for more spammy comics to make their way onto NG. One might for example, simplify the visuals, focus more on humor as opposed to story, even reuse some panels for good measure, which can allow one to submit comics as 'games' every week, possibly quicker, and still get decent scores.
This might also be something the voting system can resolve, but then again, it doesn't take much skill-wise to become a successful webcomic creator as opposed to an animator or gamedev.

Remember, this might be competing against someone's thesis film.

SUGGESTIONS:
1. A "manga" setting, as in, pages go from right to left. Again, never used it, IDK if it already has that.

2. Make a "Bando's Album Wizard", ie. a similar tool for albums / EPs. (as in, you compile a bunch of audio files, name them, give them cover art, etc, and turn them into a single interactive package) (This I might actually want to use.)

KittyhawkMontrose responds:

Thanks for taking the time to review our utility! I'm glad you see some use for yourself, and I really hope it does encourage you to make a graphic novel. I think you'd make an excellent one. Come join us! :D

The manga setting is a good idea, and we'll take a look into it. And your idea for albums is really intriguing! We might have to think about something like that in the future. Thanks for those suggestions!

yes i know we fixing it please be pasant it take some time

Just asking, any difference between this and this other version posted on September 2022?
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/856735

Well, aside from being able to embed it in a higher resolution that is, something you can easily do by hitting full-screen. You know you can swap out the original game with a newer version, right?

carbonlad responds:

There isnt a ton of differences between Sept 2022 and this one, no.

Even if theres fullscreen available, it tends to show stuff off screen with some of my games.
It did dawn on me yea, that people could use even just the html to fix that but the ratios are so sensitive.

I didnt even know the screens on my game were an issue on higher monitors (4k plus) until someone pointed it out to me.

I appreciate this comment a lot tho, thank you.

TLDR: Comic great, "game" presentation needs a lot of work.

As a comic, I'm not going to comment much on it. It's 18 pages long, quality artwork, decent story, the girl looks a little derpy, and one sex scene (no nudity thankfully). Maybe the colours + lighting look a bit flat, but that's about it.

However, "Paradise Slice 02: Read the Comic" (also Slice 01) is technically considered a "game", or rather, an interactive piece of software which centers around this comic, not too far off from most e-book readers, and from a technical perspective, it's incredibly barebones. You can click either side (or arrow keys) to flip pages, pop it out to another tab, and nothing else. No music or sound effects, no additional flair, nothing that oozes "creativity" aside from within those pages.

Here are some suggestions for improvement:
*** Try to add stuff from the author comments (descriptions, credits, links to other comics, etc) into the software itself.
Example: The instructions could be a single pop-up when you open the comic.
*** Visual indicators that only show up when you hover your mouse over one side (to indicate you should click to flip the next page.

** Display 2 pages like a real comic book
** A short animation that plays when you flip a page, rather than just instantly skipping to the next page.
** Some music (that you can change volume). Maybe 2-3 different songs in different sections of the comic.

* A button to jump straight back to the start
* Change the title from "Read the Comic" to just "Comic", preferably in brackets
* Some voices / dubs if possible.

Hope that helps.

EDIT: Do note there's a difference between something being barebones and being minimalistic.

KittyhawkMontrose responds:

It's good to hear from a fellow Aussie! :D As you hit on the head, we're going for "barebones" at the moment. These are great ideas for expanding, especially the quick jump to the start. I like that! Thanks so much for the thorough review, and I'm glad you liked the comic portion a lot. ^_^

This is a basic typing simulator. Most of the keys on your keyboard will be typed ingame by a character on the screen. The aim of the game is to type in codes that make different things occur.

Right out of the gate, I was able to get "brown", "boom", and "911", but I didn't get the rest of the medals (except for the A-Z one). Some clues can be appreciated because I don't want to have to guess for hours on end.

And no, the Konami code isn't one of them. I checked.

SUGGESTIONS: Click the keys to type them (for mobile and/or convenience), and also be able to see what I just typed. Also some decent clues on how to get the rest of the hidden medals.

Game initially did not boot up. In future, you should probably check that before you hit PUBLISH.

Faces of 2022 is a collab made to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Faces of 2012. It plays just like the original, except there's over 100 faces and they're all from 2022.

POSITIVES:
*** 105 faces drawn by ~80 artists, with only a couple of stinkers.

** A great representation of the popular characters of NG from 2022, such as Ballfrog, the Alphabet series by Delfrig, various artists, musicians and voice actors, Cult of the Lamb (there was an art contest), etc.

*** Good way to test your knowledge on various NG characters.

NEGATIVES:

*** In the study mode, the faces don't link to their submissions of origin like Fo2012 did.

** The control method. Rather than hovering the mouse around to move the screen, you instead fling a cursor around. I prefer the original, and I retained it in my own version, Faces of 2002

** As BrandyBuizel pointed out, some prompts may not be very helpful, although that may change.

* The "correct" and "wrong" sound effects can be annoying to some people

* A small handful of odd face choices. Some such as Octillery (Pokemon) and Geiru Toneido (Ace Attorney) aren't actually original characters, whereas Charles and the Among Us crewmate aren't even from 2022 (I'm guessing you counted fanart).

INFORMATIONAL:
* Contains the same music as Fo2012, of which the licensing terms say "Please contact me if you want to use this", but the author hadn't been active since 2019.

* I also drew two faces, 40oz Bouncer, and Ajit Pai (Kolo Terorita), but I haven't been able to find them.

* Stepford gets special treatment in the form of their own medal, which is easy to acquire.

Intrapath responds:

Hey, I wanted to say thanks for taking the time to write a thorough review! There are some really good points here - the one about the music caught my eye in particular. I don't imagine it'll become an issue, but it's a good note for all of us involved for future reference.

Quick tip: Before you export the SWF, click "File", "Publish Settings", then "Flash". You should get settings for "Audio stream" and "Audio event".
This defaults to 16kb/s, which will make it sound like crap. To fix this, change them both to around 64-128kb/s and maybe also set them to stereo.

Currently working on "Project Mystopia", the biggest game on Newgrounds, probably.
